This is solid wine that appeals to both the French and California Chardonnay lover. It has a pretty lemony note on the nose, nice richness on the mouth, and an interesting nutty quality and some minerality at the finish. This is a terrific value for summertime sipping! 70% of the fruit comes from Meursault, with the remainder from the Mâcon.
